Hypersexuality

A few links discussing BP's effect on individual's sexual health. It's an embarrassing subject to talk about, but one that must be taken into account when dealing with the disease. I'm 32 and during manic periods I have a higher drive than I did when I was in highschool. It's an important sign mania may be approaching and it's a side effect that needs to be accounted for before you destroy your own life or others.

I liked Kobe before all of this crap (how can you not like a guy named after a Japanese steak house). This claim however crossed the line, and I think shows his attorneys really are scum. BP can cause stupid and insane behavior, but I know of nothing that says we are incapable of telling the truth, remembering facts, or testifying truthfully. This is especiialy true if the BP isn't cycling at the moment the testimony is given.

I agree with Shakespeare first thing we should: kill all the lawyers.

A note of interest on what may trigger some cycles of BP:

I never knew this but apparently we move differently when manic. Maybe that explains how my wife just seems to "know" when something wasn't right in my head.
