Here is the latest news regarding other individuals with BP:
Ex-Oakland Raider shot by police
Barret Robbins, widely know for disappearing from the Super Bowl a few years ago, was shot several times in an altercation with police. Apparently, he refused their commands to stop and eventually they had to shoot him when they were attacked. Can you imagine a violently manic mind in a 6'6" plus 300 lb plus body? It's a shame he had to be shot, but it was probably the only way to stop him.
Sadly, it appears that he may not recover from his injuries. I am not sure if my earlier statement was correct. I don't know if he was manic or depressed and attempting to commit suicide by cop. Either way it's sad. I feel sorry for him, and I feel sorry for the guy's who were forced to shoot a sick person or else loose their own lives.
One thing about the whole episode. The Miami DA has already filed all sorts of charges (which are probably legally correct). However, the guy is obviously deranged, and he has a bunch of bullet holes in him and it looks like there is a high chance he'll die. The Statute of Limitations on all of the charges is a minimum of one year. What good is done by the DA saying we think he's guilty of murder?
Well actually, that is all the news right now. Every time I click on a link about BP information I end up at another drug manufacturer's web site. I appreciate the info, but it always seems to advocate their particular treatment.
Don't believe everything you read. The stories I have read only scratch the surface of a long pattern of personal problems that Barret was facing. The cops fu--D up big time and they know it hence the belated attempted murder charges. Why were undercover cops called to escort a drunk man from a bar? why did they not use non-lethal force first? why did the police make it sound as if he was somehow involved in a burglery? A millionair burgler would'nt pass the smell test!
